about

Primavera Porteña is a part of The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, which is a set of four Tango compositions written by Astor Piazolla. Each piece was treated as different composition rather than a whole suite. By using the adjective Porteño (Those who were born in Buenos Aires are called Porteños), Astor Piazolla gave the impression that he is writing about the four seasons of Buenos Aires.

Here, I tried to add a bottom with a different rhythmic pattern and tried to maintain the Solo Guitar Part close to the original transcription as much as possible. Since the Tango originated in Argentina, it shares the same pulse as the other South American Music. Samba and Cuban for instance. They’re all cousins after all. Thus, it blended well with the Tango’s rhythmic patterns.
